Drawing-ness is the state of being a drawing.

I am depicting small graphite drawings full of static fences.  I work with graphite and with a printer because of their granularity and detail.  The small detailed drawings are made contemplatively.  Indeed, fences are depicted as I investigate them.

My aim is that this series has a degree of drawing-ness.  As time passes, I work upon this aim, mysterious as it may be.  I will add that a degree of drawing-ness is welcomed and perhaps achieved.  Drawing-ness is a quality not so much in my writing, yet one where surprises can happen.

This work happened after my undergraduate degree.  The series took some time and effort.  More of a student than a factory, my work started after some education has impacted me more than I know.  I am fortunate to have recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Undergraduate degree.
